Natural Edged Walnut Slab
My wife and I are working to finish this bartop slab
Can anyone soggest what to do with the dotty rot area at the front end?

Fill with that special crystal clear epoxy. Heck, if the void is big enough you could go wacky and embed a few termite or other wood eating bugs in the epoxy for “visual interest”. It “wood” be a conversation starter at the bar.

I will uassaly use a grinder to get rid of anything real punky and then seal the rest with a rub on polyurathane by minwax, gives it a deep luster and not a plastic look.
