The shop is about a year old. It is approx. 20’ x 30’ in the basement of our new home. Basically started from scratch by partitioning off the basement, Getting a 220v outlet installed (already had some 110v) and then started adding everything one piece at a time. The old house we rented for many years did not have room for a shop so almost all the tools are new. It is truly a dream realized. Time to make some sawdust!

I’m Baaaack! Maybe you just didn’t have the lights on & that’s why we couldn’t see anything. Now that I can see your shop, there is one thing missing!!! I could put out a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) for the missing SAWDUST! Or perhaps you have an amazing DC system.

Ok, enough sarcasm. Very nicely appointed shop!

Now go MAKE some SAWDUST!

OK DIYaholic,
I knew somebody would give me a hard time for the obvious lack of sawdust. I just finished building a couple of 8’ benches that go against the wall wanted to swamp out the whole shop. I figured this would be a good time to take some photos as I was scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery the next day. All went well and I’m ready to start back in on making a mess as soon as the doctors gives me the green light.

A great looking shop, a lot of space! You may want to cut some slots in your outfeed table to allow your mitre gauge or sled to slide onto the outfeed table without lifting up. You may notice these kinds of slots on lot of the outfeed tables.
