I am a Nuclear Electrician (Submarines) Petty Officer First Class. I don't get to do as much wood working as i would like to, but i sure have fun doing it. I mostly enjoy figuring out new things. I don't pretend to know a lot about wood working. I do pride myself in figuring out how to make things work. Hopefully Lumberjocks will help me in future projects.

I thought i would post this rocking chair i made. I actually made two of them for a friend of mine. Now the kids are no longer arguing over who gets to sit in the rocking chair with mommy during story time. I am not sure how i enter the project into the weekly drawing of top projects so if anyone out there knows how i would appreciate the info. The rocker runners are made from Hickory and the rest of the chairs are made from Hardened Maple.

Very nice project. You can click on My Lumberjocks in the upper right corner of the screen. Then choose New Project. You should be all set. Good Luck.
