« Part 1: Preparation and opening day Part 2 of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally series Part 3: End of day #3 »

Day 1 was lethargic for everyone. An estimated 100,000 bikers rolled in yesterday, but nobody was spending any money. Weather is nearly perfect for the event. It’s supposed to stay in the mid 80s with minimal chance of rain.

Booth looks a little better this morning

Although the Buffalo Chip Campground is designed to be a very Comercial venture, I want also give them credit for honoring vetrans,

Other things sponsors bring, yes Budwiser is a sponsor

Gates are open, more later.

Thanks for the update, Monte.

Good to see the vets being remembered and honored!!!

Just a suggestion….
I would try to elevate the trunks up off the ground, easier to see the awesome grain patterns and craftsmanship.

Can you do me a favor….
Grab a couple of them “Buds” for me???

Love how the table can out. I also like the antler racks.

I’ve never been to Sturgis.

Just seen the videos of the bikes, babes, bands and booze.

Do people go to Sturgis to buy trunks, tables and wooden items…............

Go for the brass ring. I hope you go home with an empty truck and have to hire help to fill the orders.

I/we stayed at the Glencoe alfalfa field when we rode there in 1990. I rode a ‘53 Harley Davidson Panhead from Lorain, OH with 14 of my other brothers, sisters/friends/family. Was about 1500 miles. Twas fun…......what I remember…LOL. I wish you good sales Monte.
