Since I started doing this, one of my goals was to build it and let someone else sell it.at least until a time comes that I could have a storefront in the shop. As of this morning I have taken a step towards my goal.2 stores will be displaying my products. Both are giving me small spaces to start. We started out by displaying a few items at each location. Total happiness when all items sold within a week. This morning I setup my official display at the first store. The other next week.

Thats great Monte! Its good to have a product that people can buy and take home home the same day. I’m sure they’ll all sell fast.

There’s one thing that I’ve figured out about you, Monte. You are for sure a rolling stone in the sense that you move too fast for moss to be able to grow on you. You have to be one of the most productive guys I have seen on LJ’s. You just keep on going, Monte. I’m no prophet but I predict that you will soon be a very profitable woodworker. You just don’t ever sit still. May you always be happy in your work.

Congratulations on the sales! No greater compliment can be given than the opening of a wallet, and handing over of payment.

I really like the pieces as well.

CONGRATS!!!!
Monte that is great news. May you as well sell as much as you can build.
I really like the bookcases and wish I was a bit closer because one would look perfect in my office at work.

Way to go my friend! The building is the fun part and now maybe you can concentrate on that and let someone else do the selling. I think you have definately found your “niche” with the live edge beetle kill furniture.
