« Part 2: today Part 3 of holiday show series no next part

Weather was much kinder to us today. Decent crowds and sales. Next one isn’t for 2 weeks. Still hoping to make some tweaks to improve sales. Gotta keep working at it.

glad it was a decent day monte

just keep them guessing what’s next
maybe that’s a good way to bring them back
and tell their friends

With trays sold better than without. That will be taken care of by next show. Dark boxes are more popular than light colors. The exception was the box elder box. It did have a tray, but the box elder is just eye catching. Requests for cutting boards. Didn’t have them. That will be corrected. I am also working on prototypes of a more high-end jewelry box. Drawers and a way to hang necklaces are desired. I try to take mental notes of what people look at and talk about.

The bigger boxes (Arts & Craft or hunting box) does well in the pine. However I intend to put some out in other woods as well. Again I want to test the light- dark theory. It’s all a learning experience. We must adapt and change constantly.

I don’t think it’s you Monte.. It’s because peoples wallets are full of moths. :(
