Born in Arlington Texas and raised in Noble Oklahoma. My interest in woodworking began when I was 12 or 13 and my parents brought home a cool new toy. It was a delta 16" scroll saw. I played with it fell in love with wood.
I joined a woodworking club where I found lots of information from others in the Oklahoma city area. At 13 I was the baby of the club.
My wife, who is crazy smart math teacher, and I were married in June of 2008.
Upon graduating from College with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology my job moved me to Burns Flat Ok in January of 2009.
On August 20th 2009 I was laid off, thus causing me to seek employment in another part of the country. Within five hours of the layoff I was on my way to Boiser City La for my first interview. The following Tuesday I had an interview in Brighton Co. Both interviews went well and I accepted the position in Colorado. God is good!
I have been "batching it" in brighton for the past two weeks while my wife wraps tings up in Oklahoma.

My wife bought me a kit to build a mandolin last christmas. I have been working on it off and on since then. The top is spruce, and the back and sides are maple. The neck is maple and the headstock has a walnut overlay.
