Hey gang,

I’ve launched into a Dovetail-a-day plan to build my handtool skills. Here are my Day One efforts. These are pretty fun to do and are a great way to spend some time focusing and thinking.

pretty damn nice. is this your first time ever doing handcut dovetails?

if you are going to do this i suggest taking a look at the frank klausz or john bullar method of doing dovetails. you can find their videos on youtube. they dont measure or mark things prehand like most and make it look incredibly simple

Thanks for the tips Mike. I’ll look those up on youtube.

Ben, I had tried them about 7 or 8 years ago, but not since then.
