Another good weekend with some quality time down in the basement. I might actually get to start woodworking soon!

Oooooo! An autographed Modano pic, now I’m just jealous. You know he’s considered an immortal down here in TX.

Love your shop by the way, especially the wood storage.

Looks amazingly well organized and rational. I like your idea about storing those nice small pieces in drawers. I have quite a few myself, but they always wind up at the bottom of the scrap pile and I can never find them!

It’s looking really good. I don’t have enough wall space in my shop to hang up even a postcard.

Thanks gang! Yeah, Mike was always my favorite player. I stuck with the team when they moved to Dallas from MN. It was tough seeing him in Red Wings gear last year though!

One thing I do have to give up in this basement shop is this massive shelving rack I picked up at Menard’s when we were in MN. It’s too tall for the ceiling height…8’ tall, 8’ long and 30” deep. It was great for lumber storage back in the big garage we had in MN. Looks like I’ll have to put it on Craig’s List though if I can’t find another use.

Great pic of Modano. Too bad it is when they were in Dallas and not at Met Center, where it should have been.

Have your say...
