This week I talk about making and attaching the cleats for the seat. After that I upholstered the seat and using Hal Taylor’s techniques attached the rear legs and tried the rocking chair out for the first time!

A little late to the party on this project, but it looks fantastic! I love the Greene’s/Hall’s furniture, especially the stuff in the Ultimate Bungalows, and you’ve done a fine tribute to them!

I’ve gotta say, that building your own chair, and then having the satisfaction of sitting in it every day is really special. It’s hard to describe the level of satisfaction, but once you get your chair in the house, you’ll know what I mean!

If I ever get down to SoCal, I’ll stop by your shop, and see what you’re up to.

Thanks Dean. If you go to my YouTube channel I have all the updates on this project from before starting construction. I also have the entire build video for the Arm Chair from the living room on the channel.
