I am a former high school wood shop teacher gone bad (became a school administrator). I am now only a few weeks away from retirement and with this I will continue to pursue my love of wood and building and opened a small custom cabinet and millwork business. I started woodworking and carpentry when I was 12 years old and have continued to enjoy, improve and develop my skills throughout my life. I love all aspects of building and creating from forming concrete, setting an inlay to turning a bowl so thin that you can see light. My favorite style of furniture is mission and my favorite activity is making jigs and fixtures (I can spend a lot of time doing this).

I look forward to joining the LJ community. I am really glad I found you.
