I am a 38 year old building designer/draftsman from NC. I have been interested in woodworking for several years but, could not afford to get started in the hobby. My father is a woodworker and has begun to pass along some "gently used" equipment my way. I am lucky enough to have an over-sized 2 car garage. I have claimed some space in the garage for a modest shop. I will probably add some information about my shop in the next few days. I have completed a few projects and I may even post a photo or two if I work up the nerve. Anyway, I am looking forward to participating in the community and I hope to gain a lot of insight and knowledge by being a part of lumberjocks.

Thanks, for the welcome. I am fairly new to woodworking and I have been lurking on here for a while. I thought I would go ahead and take the plunge and become part of the lumberjocks community.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
