So when I decided that I will take the plundge back into woodworking I had to decide on what kinds of projects I would make. As I have said before I’m not very good. So what can I make that will help me with my skills? I went back to the basics, boxes. In my opinion, boxes are the basic building block for just about everything. Let’s face it, if you cant cut straight lines or make square joints then your projects will look like mine.
Boxes will be fun too; everyone needs boxes for stuff. Easier to handle in a small shop too. I always used to make huge cabinents and book cases (some good others not so good) and had trouble wrestling them around the shop. Small boxes will be easier for me to work with for now.
Now what kind of box will be my first? Kids toolboxes.
