94 posts in 1218 days Location: South Florida I have been into and out of woodworking since I was about 10 years old. Used to build a heck of a tree fort in the woods. Now, a husband and father of 2 I'm back into it. The web has opened up a whole new way for me to learn the craft that has gotten the better of me for a long time. I'll let you in on a little secret, I was never very good at woodworking; still not. But with all the videos out there, I can set my laptop on my table saw and watch a video of how to tune up my saw. I was never very good at applying what I read from a book into practice. Now with all these free videos, I can simply rewind and see it again.
BTW - I am a professional software developer / architect with about 13 years experiance. I hae been developing on the Microsoft Windows platform my entire career and had the privledge to work for Microsoft a few years back. Married to the most beautiful person in the world, Suzanne and we share two perfect children, Christopher 6 and Corinne 3.
