Part 1: Fence and top completion

My router table is coming along and I pretty much finished up the top and fence. I learned a couple of things that were rather important. The first is that I need to be more careful when cutting laminate. I had this thought that I should tape my cut lines to minimize chipping. Turns out that when I have thoughts like that, I should listen to myself. Part 2: My Router Table - a work in progress

I started woodworking in earnest in January when I received a Ridgid R4512 table saw as a late Christmas present from my mom. She wants her kitchen redone, and so I’m polishing my skills to get ready to build some custom cabinets for her. My first set of projects I finished up in April which consisted of a set of storage cabinets in my garage which was heavily inspired by the Garage Workshop in the New Yankee Workshop. Part 3: Drawer Fronts and finishing up

I think I can honestly say the end is in sight for my router table. I didn’t do much woodworking today, but I was able to cut out my drawer fronts and get everything attached. Since I’m still in the middle of renovating my room, I’m working on finishing up the painting in there too. While I am glad that my projects are coming along, I’d really love for things to be finished up. For some reason, I’m a really big fan of the frameless look. I don’t know if ...
