My workshop is in a 1 1/2 car garage in the Phoenix area, it is great in the fall, winter and spring…..but not so nice in the summertime. As for tools…..I like most other LJs am still adding to the arsenal. I have a Delta rockwell cabinet table saw along with a Dewalt portable contractors saw. My joiner is an 8” Delta”, The planer is a Delta 15” , miter saw is a 10” Dewalt compound miter saw. Dust collection system is a two bag 3 hp Lobo, Router is not stationary (yet) but it is a Dewalt with both the plunge and fixed base plus a 3 hp Porter Cable on a dedicated incra table. Sharpening system is a Worksharp, hand planes consist of two Stanley 5s, and a 60 1/2, and a Lie-Nielsen #4.
The majority of my furniture work is close to the mission oak style. I have been building furniture since just about mid 2009 so I am still learning quite a bit. But I have learned that patience and concentration are generally rewarded.

Mike, you have a nice shop in which to work. It looks like you have it organized pretty well and you have some nice tools to play with.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Mike, that is a nice looking saw that you added to your shop. With some elbow grease it could be a show piece.
