I spent the weekend disassembling, and cleaning the unisaw that I bought last week. Most everything went well, at least until I went to replace the blade sawdust shield under the table. I kept all the parts neatly in piles together with their respective pieces. But when it came to the sawdust shield I had a major brain fart….I spent over four hours trying to figure out what I had done wrong…even looked at the parts list several times before I realized that I had the spacer on the wrong side. Then after complete assembly I started it up for the first time and what a racket!! I thought that the bushings were out so I took that assembly back out…turns out that it was only a loose pulley assembly. Other than a few scratches it is in perfect shape for $140 I am pleased….didn’t get a chance to run it before buying but I already had a 1 1/2 HP contractors saw that if necessary I could rob some parts…now I won’t have to. below are some pics of the finished saw..

Sorry about the picture size…you can go to my workshop and see larger images….I cannot seem to figure out how to upload a picture on my blog. Can get them okay on my workshop and project pages just can’t do it on my blog page.

You need to get a flickr, photobucket, or similar account and store your photos there. You then can link to them to display them.
