First time in this arena

Hello to all ! This is the first time that I have tried to communicate through a blog format and am not quite sure as to how it will work out…..I have been reading and following your blogs for some time now and want to let everyone know that I am duly impressed. The information that is so freely shared and the genuine interest in each others projects is truly impressive!
I am a beginner and am just getting started in this field, I have been making small pieces of furniture and nic-knacks for just about a year now (hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of my work and of my shop in the near future).
I do have some technical questions that I want to ask but I will wait and do that at a later date….mostly I just wanted to introduce myself, thank all for the warm welcome and express my gratitude for all of the prior conversation that I have been able to read.

Hello mike85215 and welcome LumberJocks! You will really like it here. If you have any questions at any time don’t hesitate to ask, most questions are put in the forum area but blogs are good too. The knowledge that is on this site is next to none…

Mike, thanks for the introduction. Go ahead and ask all the questions that you want. And feel free to contribute as well. We all can learn from one another here.

Welcome. Addictive at the very least. Great place except for one thing…..sometimes I spend too much time here instead of in the shop
