Woodworking in America: Pins vs. Tails and Booking Travel

Hey all, I’m all booked for Woodworking in America (I hope to see you there). I’ll be taking Frank Klauz’s dovetail class, and he’s a pins first guy. I think he’s wrong, but he is the expert.

Here’s my blog post that explains why tails first makes more sense.

I’d love to know what you guys think about pins vs. tails first.

Tails-First makes sense to me, from habit.

I just watched some of Rob Cosman’s videos. I want to order so much stuff from his site now, the dovetail saw, the blade and chip breaker… man oh man.
