I grew up next door to Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa was a furniture/cabinet worker for ever and ever. Since Dad was also in the construction biz I've been around woodworking since i was big enough to hold a hammer.
I love the medium you can do anything with wood. I think my favorite part is the design, trying to get something to work is the biggest challenge.
I do fused glass also, and try to incorporate it with my wood.
