I've been in the carpentry business since the early eighties. Over the years, I have done general contracting for high-end residential projects and always did my own finish carpentry and increasingly much of the custom cabinet making. Now I do cabinet making almost exclusively and try to avoid climbing ladders at all. I'm a self-confessed tool nut and admit I have high expectations from the tools I buy. If I'm critical of a tool or a product its based on experience not hearsay. The same holds true if I praise a product. I joined Lumber Jocks because there seems to be a lot of camaraderie here.
