Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Chris,
We have two of them close by. One in Wasilla and one in Palmer. Of course there are several in Los Anchorage. I try to avoid the big box stores if at all possible. We have a new super Walmart in Wasilla now. Makes me shiver the few times I have been there. We live on the other side of Wasilla north of the Parks Highway. We attend Palmer First Baptist and have worked with Fairview Loop Baptist helping another church that burned a few years ago.

We had that snow too in northeast Arkansas a bunch on Sat. Night gone by sunday afternoon.
That’s a really nice cherry Cabinet you did, and your doors look fine, your right about the pin nailer, I got a cheap one at Harbor Freight, and then I found how much I would use one.
You live in a beautiful place, I was in Wasilla several years ago in a November no snow until the day we left, and then about a foot. Was really beautiful.

mrdull,
Thanks for the comments. Wasilla is a really pretty area along with much of the rest of Alaska. We enjoy it here but hardwood is expensive. I am cutting lots of birch this year for project lumber.
