I am 49 living in Katy Texas, I love to do my woodworking projects. I have some nice power tools. Still building my collection of tools and shop made jigs. Always looking for new tips or advice. I love working with oak. I have completed a TV Entertainment Cabinet. 7-1/2 ft tall x 7-1/2 ft wide. Shelves, Doors and Drawers. Kept me busy for a while lol.. Then I tackled a remodel of the guest bathroom. New vanity cabinet with matching frame and door. To cover access to shower facet and pipes. I have to say they did come out very nice. All done in classic oak finish. Woodworking is my hobby. My day job , I own a machine shop. As I am a design engineer. My company builds parts for lathes and mills.
In my past days back in the late 80's. I worked for NASA. Designing for our shuttle fleet and thier simulators. I try to live each day as if it were my last. Workoholic, Loveoholic, and Woodoholic lol. Life is too short not to spend it smiling. So do something that brings smiles to your life. Working with wood does bring me many smiles and challenges.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
