Ahhh just been another busy week followed by a busy weekend in the shop. And now I kick up my feet like I’m sure many of you who can relate and just be thinking about the week ahead. As for my week, I got a lot of concrete formwork to do considering I’m a carpenter for the local 494 but by the looks of the weather I’ll be having a third day added to my weekend so more time in the shop for me :) ...I got a solid maple bed frame starting up right now and just by lifting the 5’ corner post I can tell shes going to be a heavy beast. And not only maple shes going to have bloodwood highlites in there as well which is alot more dense. I had my 8 year old nephew over this weekend again helpin me out in the shop and hes really starting to pick up his interest in this legendary trade and if he keeps it up I’ll take him under my wing and show him the ropes and hopefully he’ll take his skills somewhere. We’ll see… Anywho for the most part I’m headin to bed and hoping for rain in the morn ;P…cya
