Rockwell Model 10 Saw - Chicago - GONE - 14 replies

I’m actually a little sad to post this, but I don’t have to room to hang onto this now that I have my Walker Turner 2221 saw. This is a great saw and really started me on the right path in woodworking. Take all the negative comments about contractor saws and throw them out the window, none of them apply here. The 1 1/2” H...

Jointer resource? - 17 replies

I am just about ready to fire up my Jointer for the first time. I have never used one of these machines myself. I remembered reading that scrapers tend to be made out of saw cutoffs so I figured I should be able to make a few scrapers from this. Just as simple as cutting shapes and burnishing a hook?

Refinishing - 7 replies

My wife and I went out to a bunch of garage sales and came home with a nice(ish) dresser. I say ish as it needs some somewhat extensive work but for the price you can’t beat it. It had some weird green on it, not quite paint, showed wood grain and pattern and some coloring through it. Came off with stripper. Beautiful looking wood un...

Used Pallet Jacks - 4 replies

I have 3 pallet jacks for sale. I’m asking $125 for them, but as a special for lumberjocks I’ll let them go for $90.00 a piece. They are used Hyster MLX 55 jacks that have 5500 lbs lift capacity. They are used but functional. I’m using one right now to help position my air compressor (60 Gallon tank). Great for mov...
