exotic woodworker, specilize in rustic furniture and exotic burl wood.
I build manzanita tables acsented with waulnut burl, maple, madrone burl. specilize in all aspects of raw wood aplication, and wood bounding teqniques. i love to build self standing wooden lamps, some of my first works about 10 years ago. they are so neat and look great. the burl wood lampshade ads a great look to lamps. I will soon be woorking at burl wood production at burl veneer plant. i work on all phases burl. extract, presure wash, trim, boil, and place on huge wood lathe. i help advise and set up production in manable ways, using laser levels to acuratly messure burl heights. some of the finest burl in world comes of this machine. I also am a woodturner and love the wood lathe. i make variety of usable burl wood products.
Maple burl, madrone burl and black walnut burl are my favorits.
hope you enjoyed my thoughts

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself just about 2 years ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
I apologize for the late welcome but I am currently serving overseas and don’t have a lot of spare time on my hands.

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
