How to turn basswood plates? - 2 replies

I am a chip carver and would like to turn my own plates. I have looked all over and can not find out how. I found books on how to turn regular plates, but nothing like the basswood blanks that I buy. Can someone “turn” me in the right direction. Ha Ha Ha. (sorry, coming off a 12 hour shift)
