The list is getting bigger.First there was religion, then along came politics. Today gays are no longer welcome, if I understand the pulling of Deek’s post about a prostitute getting shot in texas. We can have Emma, the twisted 2×4 but not have Eric.

What would you pay? - 37 replies

What if we all put a price on an project that we comment on in the project section. It is great for everybody to say ” great job; looks cool etc.” Lets put a price on the work, that you would pay f...

Show me your legs. - 17 replies
Designing legs for projects is not easy. The total end result rests on the legs. I love the so called bayonet leg. This leg is curved on the two inside edges and straight on the outside. See below. Now show me yours.

Big Balls - 55 replies
When I started on this site about 12 months ago, I found a very vibrant community. This has come to a total stop. People get cut or blocked. Some get curtailed. There are some very smart people that belong on this site, that get stopped when their opinion, just does not cut the mustard. This site should be the cutting edge of woodworking and al...

Re: Box making challenge to you ALL - 62 replies
All: I have spoken to Jorge about his duel with THEDUDE50. That is going nowhere. I have an idea that might have some merit. Here is my proposition. 1. Everybody makes a box.2. Everybody sells the box.3. The money gets sent to somebody TBD.4. We find, say 10 charities to send the money to TBD. There are some great box builders out there...

DKV - 37 replies
I have not been wood working lately because I had my hand operated on, due to Dupuytren’s contracture. All is good now. I have been spending a lot of time on LJs because of that, and it has been fun participating in the forums. I find it concerning that a LJ like DKV, gets the rug pulled underneath him and his post pulled, when others ar...
