Band saw, Snodgrass/Carter set up. - 4 replies
I watched the video and was awed. Went out and tried the setup that was suggested. Cleaned the saw, did the adjustments and viola. The best sawing I have ever done. Dark patches in maple. - 11 replies
Can anyone explain why I am getting these darker sploches in the maple on this cutting board. I belt sanded and then used a ROS for the fine finish. Finished with Mineral Oil. I then get these dark sploches that do not look good. Any good thoughts?

Removal of dried Weldbond II - 1 reply
We had some warranty done on our engineered wood floor. This floor already has finish on it and there is some glue squeeze out showing at the glue joints. Weldbond II was used. We have tried Googon without any luck. Does anybody have any ideas, apart from refinishing the floor.

All: After my ham cutting experience on my bandsaw, where the tire came off, I am looking for help in trying to get the new one on. I work by myself and I am having problems holding the top wheel still while I try to pry the tire on. Any short cuts or do I need to take the wheel off and clamp it to a table?
