Thanks, I love woodworking. I don’t get as much time as I would like. I also like woodcarving. We go to church in Webster Groves. I just finished a quicky oak and plywood entertainment center for the bedroom. I’ll post photos when I get a chance. There are some great projects posted.

Welcome to LJ macmaniak. Looking forward to seeing some of those projects. I’ve never owned anything but a Mac (I started with a MacPlus 25 years ago believe it or not) so we have something else in common too.

I use Macs for work and play. I just bought a Mac Pro a few months ago. It’s great. I just got a good deal on Turbocad to use for woodworking plans, etc. CAD programs are a lot more confusing than graphics programs.

Since you live in St. Louis, I’d like to invite you to come to meetings of the St. Louis Woodworkers Guild. We have about 110 members, most of whom are amateur weekend woodworkers. You can learn about the SLWG from our website at www.stlwoodlworkersguild.org. The SLWG is an independent, nonprofit club that welcomes anyone interested in working with wood. Times/location of meetings are listed on the website. I hope to see you at a meeting. Don Snyder, VP SLWG
