My shop is a two car garage that I am slowly converting to a full time shop. The built in closets were already in place when I moved in; these serve as my hand tool cabinets. I hope to eventually heat and cool the shop but there are many home projects that need to come before that luxury. My floor power tools were all purchased used over the past several years. I just picked up the jointer but have not used it yet. I still reach for hand tools the majority of the time.

The cup holder was from an unfortunate lesson. It was a hot day and I had a bottle of coke on the work bench. I apparently set my jack plane down on a drop of condensation leaving a rust spot on the bottom. From the scrap pile came a cup holder; no more drinks on the bench!

I really like the set up you have in your shop. Love the french cleats, organization, and look/feel! Congrats and thanks for the advice about the cup holder!

Have your say...
