Just closed our furniture manufacturing facility after 40+ years in the industry. Manufactured solid pine, fully finished, mid-atlantic colonial style pieces and did expensive parts and component work for others. Most machinery was older or retrofit for specific function. Closed business due to opportunity to sell old building. Through a stroke of insanity also owned the remanants of the H.B.Smith drum sander company providing sales and service for drum sanders 43" to 72" wide capacity.
