« Part 2: Materials Part 3 of Mystery Project series no next part

I was finally able to get out into the garage today to get started on this thing. First I cut a piece of the particle board down to 19”w x 18” l and cut two 1” wide notches into it, 12” apart at the outside. Then I made a 1/8” deep roughly 1” wide groove on the bottom.

Then I flipped the the piece over and cut 2 5/16 grooves into for a future piece.

Next I took some 4/4 3” wide pine I had laying about, half lapped it and glued it back together to make some 90 degree angles. Then I glued and screwed these into the notches and 1” wide grooves on the bottom.

Finally (for today) I cut a piece of 1/8” fiberboard to 19×17, cut some small indent in it and glued in onto the previous piece for future t-track.

Currently, it looks like this
