What about a wood swapping area? For instance, I have access to ALL sorta Maple, but not to, for instance, Oak, or other types of wood. maybe swapping chunks via snail mail would be a good idea.

I don’t see many jumping on board. I think the cost of shipping will probably kill this idea.

We already have an area for swapping. look in the forum section for trading
