I am a retired Electrical Engineer. I am a home shop type woodworker. I consider myself to be a intermediate level woodworker. I have always liked tinkering with wood working from the time when I was a kid put-zing around in my fathers shop. He was a accomplished woodworker mostly out of necessity making things for the home with a minimum amount of power tools. I still have a number of his tools and using them today. Now that I am retired I am spending more time in the shop, mostly setting it up and trying to better organize it so I can work in it. My main shop is a single car garage that I have not been able to put a car in for 20 yrs. Over the years I have had to add two 10'x20' sheds in the back yard for overflow (seems like there is not a tool or gadget that I don't need).

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
