I am now a fully retired Machine Design Maintenance Engineer working in the medical device manufacturing field. I designed, fabricated, and maintained Teflon extrusion equipment. I love woodworking as a hobby, along with golf, coin collecting, fishing, photography, traveling with my wife and antique restoration. I have a passion for recycling lumber - Old furniture, Organs, Pianos, Building materials. You acquire some of the nicest old lumber. My profile picture is with my then 1 1/2year old grandson Owen at the ballpark. The little widget is now 4 years old. Wow how time seem to get away from you. next thing you know he will be ashing to drive my truck.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a little over a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
