We all have read and heard about the dangers of breathing wood dust over extended periods of time.
Stopped up sinuses and sawdust boogers are just a start and the tip of the iceburg regarding problems and after effects that can occur.
The linked video may be disturbing to some and children should be asked to not look at the computer unless under parental supervision http://www.wimp.com/webcameffects/

Ah, simple pleasures are the best!

Hmmm…maybe I can make my own curly wood that way?

To be serious—The sawdust is a real problem. Had some people do some sanding in an apartment and didn’t empy the bag when they went to lunch. The resulting explosion lifted the floors above about 2-3” and rather suddenly parked the sliding glass door frame about 25’ away, the glass was gone. Luckily nobody was home in any of the affected spaces.

A lot of things tend to get explosive in a fine powder, under the right conditions – even copper.
