Starrett No. 490
Yesterday I got this great tool for free. My neighbor has this Starrett No. 490. I was looking at it and asked if he was interested in selling it. He is not a woodworker and said he rarely ever uses it. I have another Starrett square but it doesn’t have the angle adjustment on it. He gave it to me.

And here I thought I was going to have to buy a dust collector. Now all I have to do is hold this post up in the shop and all the sawdust magically disappears :)

Did I officially win the “You Suck” contest?

The Starrett found a good home and is in the hands of someone that appreciates it. All good things.

It seems woodworkers are discovering and appreciating Starrett tools. Now you need the center finder and you will have the set. You have a very nice neighbor.
