This fireplace projects started with adrawing on the wall then continued with the components
I recessed the opening to have less of the fireplace intrude into the room

picked up a barn beam from a barn wrecker and cut to size and put return on it


after the gas unit was installed I framed it set the mantle

this is what it looks like before the the stone
I used wonderboard to close it in

Wow! So where is the rest of it. Surely it is done by now, I would love to see it finished.

Been waiting for the unit to get installed..came friday and saturday I framed it in

hope to do the stonework next weekend…
