This is the completed front axle. The wheels are also completed.

Looks fantastic. Models of this quality certainly give us an appreciation of the skills and ingenuity of our forefathers. It would have been nice if your blog gave a little more insight into the actual work involved in this project. I’m not thinking of a tutorial or anything like that, but I imagine that as woodworkers we are probably at least as interested in the work process as the results. Just a thought.

Ok well I just did an edit and removed the horrible photos and replaced it with new ones.

Thanks, nicer photos. I hope you will take some work in process photos of your next project. You are obviously very good at what you do and maybe we can learn something from your work methods. On the other hand if you really don’t want to please just ignore me.
