A couple years ago, shortly before Christmas, Debbie and I experienced some hardship…Without going into the details all over again, my Friends from Lumberjocks took it upon themselves to try to make our Yuletide a merrier one… an attempt, that was hugely successful!!One of the folks here anonymously sent me a $50 Gift Card to Lee Valley! To be honest, the card got mis-placed, in all the shuffling and jostling around of the moves we made…I despaired of ever finding it again&#...

It being April Fool’s Day, I couldn’t resist reviewing this old dandy! The restaurant I worked at in 1999 was housed in an 1800’s built brick factory building. My Parents say that when they were young it had been a meat packing and processing plant and in the basement there were tracks and hooks for transporting sides of beef and what not. What’s so special about a saw? I was moved to write this last week when i had occasion to use this baby again, my “tool of last resort”. I wanted to change the orientation of tenons on my current project and was dreaming up all of these sophisticated set-ups, involving V-blocks and clamps, when it occurred to me to just cut the things using this saw!
