Wood hobbyist. I have more projects in various stages of development than I'd like to admit to. I also attempt (key work - attempt) to refurbish old furniture. I also teach a woodworking class for the developmentally disabled at a group home for two hours each week. I have to adapt techniques to fit each person's capabilities which is a challenge. However, we have made some nice things and are having fun making them - a planting bench, bird houses a bird feeder, cutting boards, games, etc.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.
