Isn’t it nice to have a friend visit? And it is even better to have a visit from one of the most talented from Lumber jocks! We (actually I do a lot of watching) have been making Momma happy with some new cabinets to store medical supplies for our son that is bed-ridden. My family life has improved due to his generosity.
We do a lot of visiting and have several neighbors over to enjoy his company too. The neighborhood is finding him just as much a part of their family as we have.
Two years ago I promised a wonderful family a new mantle for the one that was stolen just after they signed the papers on their new home. (I’m always prompt, no matter how long it takes) I had started the project but got stymied with back issues and a non-existant talent for cutting compound miters in 6 inch wide molding. My guest stepped in and made these cuts for me and even installed the mantle for my neighbors. Needless to say, Murlie and C.C. are very happy to finally have this completed.
Even the grand kids have taken to him and he gets the Hello hugs and the bye bye hugs too. Even his family has proven to be very well mannered and have won over our protector and supper guard dog after a few initial nips at the heels to establish who is the yardboss.

No this is not childs play! These plastic saw horses just happen to be the perfect height for the job. sorry kids, the’re mine now!

Momma’s in a hurry to use these cabinets.

Oops, ran out of wall! Oh well, who cares.

All Right! Where’s the doors and trim? Even Smiley Joe knows we need doors and trim.

Rand,
Are you really asking seriously, of course no one would ever reach you in terms of what you are right now. LOL. Being a jolly good fellow, that is Rand. If I am around as your neighbor, probably I will be one of them to assist you however if I am in your place, I will not hesitate to ask help from you anytime. Good to hear from you. Give my best regards to the family – from Agnes n Bert.
God Bless and Take care,

-- Bert

Rand, I still have my S.I.L.K. hammer!
And this Grandchild is from my youngest who is just 18 and at home.
But it is what it is and I get to change diapers again. I am so thrilled.
Now I do hope we get a picture of this project.
Please.
It really is good to see you here.

Roger, how crass of me to forget our SKYPE visit! I’m very sorry for that. I hope this makes ammends. Expect another visit fron “us”.

Dave, I know what you mean about diapers….I had a 20 pounder today. lol. It run the company back to the shop and we are still trying to air out the house. lol. and the kid only weighs 28 pounds. lol. Does this qualify as a blivet?
If I had know the grand kids were this much fun, I would have started with them and run the parents off years ago. lol
