Hi Rand, I hadn't seen your name pop up before that I could remember, so I took a look at your home page out of curiosity. I haven't been very active on LJ for awhile due to extra duties while my wife has been recovering from hip and knee surgery so I have missed your posts. It sound like you have put a few miles on the chassis. I admire that you haven't let a thing like being confined to a wheelchair slow you down. I have to admit that I sit quite a bit when working in the shop these days myself.
Your shop looks like a good place to get some serious woodworking done and it looks very neat and well organized. I see that you have that kind of wheelchair that can put you in a stand up position. One of the members of a woodworking club I belonged to a few years ago had a similar rig. He is a full time professional woodturner and is able to produce 1000 times more than I ever will.
I see you live in Lancaster. Before moving to Norway in 1971 the wife and I had a home in Simi and I worked in Reseda. I sure do miss all those earthquakes and wildfires, Lol. Seriously I do think I would enjoy woodworking more there than here because it is difficult for the average guy to get interesting woods here regardless of the price. Tools too, to some extent, but wood is the worst problem.
I hope you are enjoying the LJ experience and I look forward to seeing your posts.
