I’m a Little (old) Left-handed Lady LumberJill who Loves the Lord, Lumber, (and aLliterations). I’m a re-tired (that means tired all over again) advertising manager who has been playing with wood for about 25 years.

I’m practical and frugal, with a workshop of CHEAP tools. I enjoy making pieces of furniture on which we would never otherwise splurge. I make the simple ones with straight lines. My husband makes the gorgeous ones with curves, carving, and details (which usually end up as gifts). As I noted from another woodworker signature "I’m not good, but I’m slow" which, with my list of woodworking projects, should keep me busy another 50 years.

Without high-speed internet, I don't post many projects or do much blogging, because I’d rather spend my time in the shop than wait for “the next page to load.”

(By the way, the photo shows another activity I enjoy. That's a northern I caught with a tiny hook with a little piece of a red worm while panfishing.)

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Always good to see another Badger on LJ. I often see that on the site so I thought I’d say hi!. Though I live in southern WI now, I lived in Central WI for 8 years. In that city with an insurance company with a rail station logo.

Another year has rolled by. We must be having too much fun, cause it seems like just yesterday when I congratulated you on 1 year.
And now it’s time for: Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary at Lumber Jocks. Thanks for helping make LJ a great place to visit and happy anniversary!

Gary,

I can’t believe another year has transpired! I guess my latest outfeed workbench project entry should be to celebrate that event! I think it’s the only project I have uploaded all year! I guess I should get busy and include some more, but quite frankly, I’d rather be in the shop. Dial-up is just TOO slow!
