If you are looking for a nice project for the pizza lover in your family, this is it! Extremely well made, heavy- 12.5 ounces (without the handle), sharp, and the blade is mounted on the axle so there is absolutely no “wobble”. The cutter also includes a threaded insert for the handle- so the handle can be removed and the cutter place in the dishwasher-and an allen wrench to help thread the insert into your handle. About a year ago, I purchased the Stanley TRE550 Electric Stapler. I know it wasn’t the most expensive stapler on the market and I didn’t expect it to be the “end all” of electric staplers. I used it once to make the child’s rocker which probably required driving 150 1/4” staples into oak. This is my first tool review at LumberJocks. I received this as a Christmas gift and couldn’t wait to try it out! The saw worked exactly as advertised. I have the 6” model and was able to create a daughter bowl blank that was 4” in diameter and just shy of 2” deep. (The 4” diameter is a little over the limit of this model- see next paragraph).
