I think about folks here all the time-mostly with a tool in my hand, or at a local event. I hate that i rarely post or read anymore, i have just been working more diligently and extensively than ever pursuing that pipe dream! It seems to be the only thing i do well enough at all. Anyways…i did make a stupid facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/Used2btrees/456934677680390, and i try to look at the posts about which i am notified on my phone, while i wait for my kids to get out of school, so i can check on folks here at least. I just don’t write, because they usually arrive while i am still looking and reading!

in some ways christine
the new phones and pads
seem to make connecting
even harder or shorter at least

sitting down to a computer
is something that can be relaxing
and can be given more attention

i don’t get cell phone coverage
so have never used them

but i see people in cars and stores
suddenly talking or texting
while they are concentrating
on something else

and the small sizes make texting
and shortcuts easier

in their own way
they are more impersonal

‘hi
how are you
well gotta go
bye’

certainly different than the old phones
where you had to sit down to talk with someone
like a saturday or sunday call home
to catch up with them

holidays soon
maybe you can spend more time here
if even just to relax some

Patron have you been listening to my 3 year old granddaughter on her play cell phone? Her conversations are exactly what you posted:

‘hi
how are you
well gotta go
bye’

I don’t Facebook (way too petty except possibly for family connections) or Twitter (I don’t feel the need to follow anyone) my cell phone has limited coverage (including not in my house as I have a steel roof thank goodness).

Lumberjocks, good for the body and the soul!

Oh, YAY!! hi patron, Dennis, Moment,A-1, &oldnovice _true, funny!...but sad. Sometimes i wish all the technology would cease but for my powertools!...but then…again…without the encouragement and support i have received on this site, i never would have even felt the confidence to get so busy!
i am not fond of facebook & do not have a personal page. you guys are my only electronic friends ...overwhelming for my add brain. -but, the business page is so easy to post and update available items to.
