Anybody that lives along the coast and needs to evacuate thier tools can ship them to me and I will gladly keep them safe. Of coarse, I will have to make sure that they still work when they get here. Or you need a bed for a day or two, I will see if the misses will let you crash on our couch.

Has anybody tried of even heard of a Wilton variable speed mini wood lathe. I am curious about turning pens and really don’t have the dough to sink in a Mini Jet (which is what I really want) but there is one on Craigslist for $80. Please advise, good or bad.

Not far from me is a store called “RETOOL”. They sell new tools but mostly used. I went in today for the first time and they had a 6in Delta Jointer for $129.
