3rd upcycled organ desk finished - 1 reply this started as a 1959 Baldwin organ…..after a bit of tweeking it is now useful again…..black lacquer distressed finish….granite look laminate desk top….. |

1871 Pump Organ Transformed..... - 15 replies been working on this for a bit and am a day away from completion….picked up an 1871 pump organ (barn fresh) a while back….”gutted” it out and am making it into a writing desk…..nice ornate walnut case…..remodeled a bit , added a few drawers…..need to put finishing touches on it tomorrow and will post... |

anyone repurposed an old upright piano - 15 replies i came across an old upright piano…over a hundred years old….great looking zebra oak body with a birdseye maple inside….i am thinking of turning it into a desk or bar…..anyone with experience tearing the guts out of one???just looking for any tips before i start…..why am i doing this….....just crazy enough to... |
