Hey again everyone, well the ice has missed us so far its staying just to the north of us. Our prayers certainly go out to all those affected by this winter storm, my friend Steve Good over at Scrollsaw Workshop is measuring ice in inches from this storm. This usually means power outages and with the cold temps this can really be bad, I hope Steve and everyone else involved can stay warm and safe. Please check my project page for another valentines pattern for your scrolling enjoyment, have a great day and God bless my friends.

My wishes are also with everyone in the path of this nasty storm.

In December 2007 we lost power for 4-1/2 days after a large ice storm; it caused a lot of damage, our daughter and her girls spent the time with us, Emily ate corn dogs cooked in the fireplace, and it was a true struggle to stay warm.

We are thinking of everyone at this time…

NW Arkansas was nailed with more than an inch of ice. Our neighborhood missed the worst by about 10 miles, but there are several other LJ’s in the worst part of the storm. There is a chance that they are without power and could have broken trees on their houses. No hard estimate on when power will be completely restored.
