I'm an Automation Engineer.. Really just started in wood working over the last 15 yrs.. I have refinished wood floors that was hidden by Carpet, rebuilt rooms, laid new floors and Added wood decks..
I'm at that time of life where the kids are bigger and i can start my hobbies up now.. Not having to worry about getting the kids running every where for soccer, football, and Cross-country stuff..
I really want to start building small projects like replacing my bedroom furniture at first.. I'm looking at making a mission bed frame(Oak or Cherry wood) to start out with..
working on cleaning out the Garage so I can get my workshop up and running...
I have the following tools:
12" Mitter-saw Taskforce. its been a good saw and has helped me lay a bunch of flooring of the yrs.
10" craftsman table saw model 113,221770.. it works but would like to replace it over the next few yrs.. for some reason the blade adjustment keeps moving the blade down when I'm using it..
12" Craftsman band saw I just bought off CL a month ago.. Have used it to help put the last floor down in the house.. I will be rebuilding it next month, New tires, blades and The Carter Sears 12" Stabilizer?? still thinking about that one.. I only paid $100 for the saw but the stabilizer is $79 but still cheaper then a new 14" band saw.
I'm getting ready to buy the 10" Jet jointer/planer combo.. I have read a lot of good and bad review on the product but i will still try it out.. The space saver is what i'm looking for here.
I will add more as I go along...
Thanks
